Dr. Irving L. Katz

Dr. Irving L. Katz is a 1959 graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. His post graduate training includes a residency in Internal Medicine at Bellevue Hospital in New York City and General Surgery training at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He completed his Urology residency at the University of California Medical School in San Francisco and currently holds the appointment of Assistant Clinical Professor of Urology at the University of California Medical School San Francisco. Dr. Katz is certified certified by the American Board of Urology.

Hospital affiliations are with Mills-Peninsula Hospitals, Sequoia Hospital and the University of California Medical Center. Professional positions at Peninsula Hospital included Chief of Surgery and Chief of Staff. He served on the Board of Directors of the Mills-Peninsula Hospital Health System and is currently on the Board of Directors of the Mills-Peninsula Hospital Foundation. Dr. Katz was a Captain in the United States Army.

He has lectured at the University of California Grand Rounds on several subjects including renal cancer, renal stones, prostate surgery and has been published in several medical journals.

Dr. Andrew G. Rosenberg

Andrew G. Rosenberg, M.D. received his bachelor of science in microbiology from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in 1976. He graduated from the College of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Rutgers Medical School in 1981. His postgraduate work was done at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York in the departments of surgery and urology and completed a fellowship at the University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in urologic-oncology.

Dr. Rosenberg was certified by the American Board of Urology in 1988 and previously has been on faculty at the State University of New York School of Medicine in Syracuse, New York. He has held several hospital and medical community appointments and has been published in many medical journals and patient education pamphlets. He is a past-chairman, Department of Surgery; Urology Section At Mills-Peninsula Hospitals, Burlingame, CA.

Dr. Rosenberg helped start the Mills-Peninsula Hosptal Prostate Cancer Patient Support Group and is the host of a monthly medical Cable TV Show.

Dr. John A. Connolly

John A. Connolly, M.D. graduated in 1985 from the University College Dublin School of Medicine. He continued his postgraduate training at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin and was a research fellow in urology at Meath Hospital, also in Dublin. Dr. Connolly was a clinical fellow in urology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland and completed his urology residency at the University of California in San Francisco. He is a member of the San Mateo Medical Society, is a candidate for the American Urological Society, and is a member of the Johns Hopkins Medical and Surgical Society.

Dr. Connolly was certified by the American Board of Urology in 1999. He joined the practice of Katz and Hayne M.D., Inc. in 1997.
